Hugo is a working cocker spaniel. I made this quick pencil drawing from life in preparation for a large portrait painting of Hugo with his owner Peter. On the first visit, I came with a bribe of yummy treats and here on the drawing, he is looking up expectantly while I am trying to capture him.
