“Roses and Freesias”

Description

This little study is all about colour. I switch from oil to acrylic and back all the time, especially in my small works. I want to see how the same subject can look in these differing media. I usually begin with painting a more or less thorough study. The second piece is an attempt to simplify the forms and I like it very much.
