Description
The cutest of breeds, the French bulldog, was not as ubiquitous back then as it has become in a few recent years and was sure to catch one’s eye.
We had a lovely hot Summer in the South East of England in 2003. That year I often sketched from the window of our art gallery, trying to capture the diversity of Rye’s High Street visitors. One of such quick line drawings depicted a boy with a dog walking along. I felt the image deserved its life to be extended and made into this original drypoint print.
