Versailles Gardens

A study of Versailles Gardens based on one of the photos I took on a walk there. Something interesting was found in this painting which I would like to keep and develop. The energy, the brush stroke, the restrained colour range, the contrast – all these components made an intriguing piece. The problem is, trying to replicate it is going to ruin the energy of spontaneity. Or is it some fear speaking in me that I should explore?..
